Hi, I am Jonas.

I grew up in Linköping Sweden and has always had a special relation to Sailing. I learnt how to sail when I was 9, when I started in Optimist back home on the Lake Roxen.

Since the first day I was hooked. When I was 14 my dad boat me a Laser dinghy. I am forever greatful for this day when he came home with the dinghy on the car roof. My body weight was far to light (45 kg) for the boat, so it sat in the garage for a year before I launched for the first sail trial when I was 15 (50 kg). I was scarede to death the first few times when the wind was picking up. Scared of capsizing. One day my dad forced me to capsize in calm conditions and taught me to upright the boat. I did, and from that day there were no more fear.
